Local priorities are about creating the sort of place you want to live in. They
have been negotiated between your local council, those providing your local public
services (such as the police, NHS, JobCentre Plus, charities and community organisations)
and Government.
The priorities they will focus on, in your area, have been captured in the local
area agreement (LAA). This sets out what will be tackled on an area-by-area basis
across England over the next three years.
Agreeing local priorities means that individual areas can focus on what is important
to local residents and improve their quality of life.
This website aims to show you what the priorities are in your area and also
where you can get more information about those local priorities.
